PR is just as important in the online world as it is in the offline world...but what you provide and to whom you provide it is different.  Do it well and you get a lot of free advertising or at least links to your site.

 

Retaining existing customers

All these activities will draw new visitors to your web site.  But don't forget marketing to existing customers.  It's easier to retain customers than to get new ones.  Think about how you're going to stay in touch with customers through social networking and email newsletters.
